The Broad River is also considered part of South Carolina’s Santee River System. Flowing from Western North Carolina to Columbia, South Carolina it eventually meets the Saluda River to form the Congaree. Like her cousin the Saluda, the Broad River has a number of small lakes and hydroelectric dams to control flooding and, as does many of South Carolina’s warm water rivers, the Broad holds a large number of Largemouth Bass, Catfish and Pan fish. However; here we pay special attention to the upper sections of the Broad, which is known for it’s remarkable Smallmouth Bass fishing.

This trip is highly recommended for the novice to advanced anglers who will find no better “pound for pound” fishing fun than pursuing smallmouth bass on the Broad.

Customers are encouraged to bring their favorite rod and tackle; however all fishing equipment is available for use at no extra expense. A healthy lunch, drinks (no alcohol) and snacks provided. We can handle up to two customers (additional person $25.00) and the customer is only responsible for his/her own state fishing license. (Please remember to tip your guides if your trip meets or exceeds your expectations 15% to 20% is customary.)

A South Carolina State fishing license can be obtained on line at: http://www.dnr.sc.gov/purchase.html
